Cultural & Dance Stages

Cultural & Dance Stages

You'll find exciting things to see, hear, and do on our two most intimate stages filled with musicians, writers, storytellers, historians, and dancers. Do: participate in our Hooley and learn Ceili dance, discover and play to the beat of the Bodhran, uncover your hidden Irish heritage, and even learn to speak like a local (Ireland, that is!). See and hear: travel Ireland, learn about Irish art and symbols, listen to stories, poetry, readings, music, and dance.

Returning in 2014; the MIMF Celtic Highland Games! Watch competitors take part in hammer, sheaf and the popular caber toss! Enjoy our expanded cultural and dance stages with readings, performances, and presentations including our local Irish Hall of Fame. Don’t miss a great mix of traditional clog dance and step dance presentations throughout the festival with the MIMF Parade of Dance Champions on Saturday night.
