Danny Burns

New Orleans based Irish Guitar Man-Singer/songwriter Danny Burns, a product of a working musician's family from the Northwest of Ireland, has been on the road as a full-time musician since leaving home in Donegal at the age of 17.

Pulling from as many different styles and influences as there are musical tastes, Danny conjures up every bit of road, dirt & gravel that he has rolled in or passed over since first setting out from home. Danny's voice draws comparisons to the likes of B.B King, Ray Charles, Van Morrison, Richard Thompson, Albert King, Freddie King and Bob Marley.

Danny was featured in the critically acclaimed documentary "The Fairytale of New York," about Irish living-legend singer/songwriter Shane McGowan (Pogues) which is aired regularly on Irish National Television. Several years of extensive touring throughout Europe and the United States have allowed him to share the stage with greats such as The John Ginty Band, The Greencards, Paddy Casey, Damien Dempsey, Seanchai & the Unity Squad.

"He's a great songwriter." - Damien Dempsey
